Thread: New Account but not a new user

Ok guys, I've been here before but apparently my account got deactivated because I posted a link offering discounts at major retail stores and it was deemed spam.

I'm not on here to cause any confusion or trouble. I have gained a wealth of knowledge here and hope to continue doing so if permitted. Knowing that certain posts are flagged as spam, I will be a bit more vigilant with my content.

I do hope I will be welcomed back to the forum with no gripes.

Your old account name was kariba without an h? That name isn't in the user database.

It seems that not only has his user name been deleted but threads that he started or posted in have been deleted as well. (I understand this two things go hand in hand)

Chriscar, I do remember conversing with kariba in various threads. This is one of them, that has been deleted or moved.

Unfortunately your post was tagged and bagged as auto spam. The system apparently did too good of a job and added you to the spam list which deleted your account and all threads/posts. I'll do what I can to restore them once my computer is unpacked and set up. Moving is such great fun =|

That sucks @Chriscar. Yeah, I've shared some good info and participated in quite a few interesting topics but I guess that's all gone now @B15NEOVVL. I mean, I don't mind starting from scratch because I still have access to the content @Cliff. I've used the search quite efficiently and effectively throughout the years so I'll continue to do that for info that I'm in need of.

Thanks much guys. I apologize about that post again, I just figured persons would want great deals on items since the Christmas season is soon upon us. I was even in dialogue with the Marketing Department of that particular site to include more automotive stores for guys like us. Some are Summit Racing, Auto Zone, Jegs, NAPA, PepBoys, etc. It would have really been nice for the guys here on the forum to benefit from discounts and rebates when ordering from those sites but my post was flagged as spam. I guess once the Marketing Department gets back to me on the matter, I can update you accordingly and the appropriate means of disseminating the information will be used.
