Thread: Hello again

My name is Erik. I am an SR-20/B-13 Retread. I sold my Black 93 DET powered SE-R (It was dubbed Lil'Stealthy on CarDomain) back in 2003 due to the arrival of our third child. Yes. I regretted it. I bought a 1994 Volvo 740 (rwd) turbo wagon. Played with that for nearly 5 years. The Volvo departed with a confirmed 329 hp at the rear wheels according to the chassis dyno at diesel perf. Needed something that would pull at least 5000lbs of horse flesh plus tack so bought the biggest SUV known to man, the 7.3 diesel Excursion (yep, bigger than a Hummer because it is longer, taller and weighs about the same but makes more power). A while back I found a B13 SE-R for my Father for a fun commuter and have helped him keep it in excellent running and looking condition. Then when it came time for my son to upgrade from the beater pickup to a nice car when he proved that he wasnt' just going to thrash it, he asked that we look for a car like Grandpa's. Ended up buying Aaron Prothero's 1992 B13 SE-R 18 months ago. The car had some unothodox modifications performed by the v arious owner prior to Aaron so we have spent this last year and a half making the car into a reliable but fun car to commute in.
Things still to rectify:
Replace/Upgrade/Rework Stock Suspension (we have B&G coil over struts/springs from previous owner but haven't installed yet)
5th gear pop-out and the the VLSD is very loose...
Re-install all of the factory under hood A/C components
Some R&R on the interior.

Other projects I have going:
1972 Datsun 510 with and SR20DE (car and engine are in peices).
1967 Ford Bronco that we are completely upgrading. It was manual everything and we are giving it power everthing and giving it a modern heart in the form of a 1997 5.0 out of an Explorer with all of the EFI goodies.

LOL, Hilarious! I will never ever be out of Nissan/Datsuns. I have had the SR20DE to go into the 510 for quite some time now. I also have a 69 510 wagon that I am not sure what to do with but that is another topic. I was going to build it for the daughter with L20B or KA power but she doesn't have an appreciation for what the PL510 is so I think I will save it for another day right now. Maybe the younger daughter (musician/actor) will appreciate it and have need of the cargo area for hauling her guitars, keyboards amps etc....
