Thread: New member in Fort Worth, tx

Hello all
I've had my NX since 95 and still love it for the most part. Lately the knobs for the t-tops have broken off which makes it more difficult to take them off. Also, the plastic on the interior portion of the top has cracked and hangs down, driving me crazy! Super glue worked for a bit, but the summer temps I guess makes the super glue not so super. Has anyone had this prob and resolved it?

I've only ever seen ONE running NX in the area, and it was a bloody 1600.!
And there is one NX at a yard in Kennedale with good TTop plastics... unfortunately the tops are locked. You can always bash them out though; its not like the seals are any good anymore anyways.

Welcome, also, there are a few of use in the area(but everyone else seems to run B14s).

Thanks for the info! I forgot about that place in kennedale, I think I got the front end off that car a few years ago. I haven't transferred the pics onto my computer and can't seem do it from my iPhone.

Well the passenger side fender and front bumper are still there. It's a white one.

I found some T-tops! Anyone who needs parts, there's a nx2k (black) in Kennedale, TX at Exit 30 salvage. They said that the motor has been blown, but the trans is good.

Yea those guys are on crack. I went out there to see about the driver side fender, when I needed one, the guy quoted me $125 for JUST the fender...

Oh wow. Guess they saw me coming, I bought both tops for $250. Live & learn I guess. I was surprised there was one around here though

250 For tops isn't bad though.

Also, through word of mouth, I've heard that there's another NX in a yard in Grapevine but I'm not about to go all the way over there to check it out; especially when I don't really need anything.
