Think I spun bearings

Driving to work this morning in my N15, SR20ve, LSD box. I start hear a clattering noise between 3,500 rpms and 4,500 rpms. So depressed, can thse engines actually come back from this or is it the end ?

come back after proper rebuild including a thorough cleaning if not addressed on what is making noise, yes it will become the end
