Pensacola - S30/SR20/S13
Nissanoholic advised me that I should go ahead and post my insanity of a build on this forum; however, before I do that it looks like I am to do a New Member post. So here it goes...
My name is Kenny, and I live in Pensacola, FL.
I was in the Air Force for 6 1/2 years and three of those years I lived in Okinawa, Japan. While there, I was introduced to the world of drifting and I became addicted. I had a beater Silvia while I was there, and when I got out of the Air Force they of course wouldn't let me take the car with me. So...I stripped the whole car down to the shell and packed everything into foot lockers and classified them as 'household goods'. Once I arrived back to the states, this was June of 2007, I bought a 240SX for $500 and built it 10x better than the Silvia I had. That didn't last too long because one morning while driving to work, I had a truck smash into me. This nearly killed me and I spent almost three months in a coma. Just ask Nissanoholic! Luckily I lived and made a somewhat full recovery. My wife told the police not to junk my car and instead had it sent to my father in-laws house...where it sat for roughly three years. Every time I looked at it I just got pissed off. Finally I had enough and decided I'm going to build the craziest drift car ever! So...I thought for while on it and decided I would build a Datsun 240Z that drifts? Honestly though, I don't think I had any idea what I was getting myself into with this. Now it's been almost two years since I started on the project, but you will just have to wait until I am able to post in the Members Rides thread before the details and photos will be shown.
