Have you figured out how to adapt the rwd sr transmission? I was working on this a few years back. A few of the bolt holes line up. The starter placement does not though. If you use the sr trans, the 24 spline flywheel and clutch setup can work, but some modification needs to be done. As far as the start issue though, a snub nose starter with some modifications to the block can be made to work.

lol.... dude my cars working already drives and all, i used a Z32 transmission instead its a bit over kill but i wanted to use the car to drag race lol.... for the starter issue you have to drill new hole all the way through and weld only thing that was relocated was the alternator, not that i had to but just wanted it in a different spot

Oh, nice!! I found your build thread on car domain. You have done a lot of work to your miata. Kudos on taking a such a large project. When you get her to the strip, be sure to give us your times.

Erika puts me to shame i cant even do a swap where i live. My dad always bitching about the mess blah blah. Man this looks real bad on me a girl doing her own work xD.

I think im hating or a lil jealous
