Idaho 91 Sentra SER
Well as im getting ready to finally tear into my car i figured i would join up on a SR forum. Any pointers or advice of any kind is welcomed im a total newb to turbo cars, but not cars in general or nissans. heres what i have so far.

Well after selling my honda i went looking for a 240sx and didnt find one but ran across this little gem and was a good deal so i couldn't pass it up. $850 later i have a 1991 Sentra SE-R motor has a slight knock at 3k rpm. Car is 100% bone stock (for now). And some of the parts are ebay stuff. its all just to get me going for now and i can upgrade later as more funds come in/ need to.

Future plans
SR20DET swap
lowerd a little bit
wheels
go fast and have fun

Parts i have
Walbro 255
Boost Controler
wideband
solid motor mount inserts
intercooler
550CC injectors
ugraded clutch and lightened flywheel
bov
Boost Gauge
SAFC2(i know its a fing piggy back but for now idgaf)
SR20DET Bluebird

Still need
intercooler piping
exhaust
Springs/coilovers
Wheels/tires

******************update 4/1/13**********************************************
christmas has come early

and decided to paint the fins black, also no i did not cut up my oe bumper i got this one that someone else was going to throw away, the 91 se-r front bumper cover is to short for a big front mount so i got one from a 94

******************Update 4/7/13************************************************
well while I'm acquiring funds for the motor i got tired of just staring at my new parts so i decided to get some interfooler action going!!

*****************Update 4/14/13************************************************
SR20DET Avenir ordered and on the way sorry no vtec one for now, not in the budget just want to get the car going
Got newer 94 taillights as i like that design better.
Got a new front bumper cover the things thats wrong with the one thats on currently is bothering me alot.

Good start and welcome to the forum.... Looks like a clean and very complete avenier. Did it come with an avenier ecu or are you going to just attempt to run only an s-afc for tuning? I would look into an avenier ecu at the very least or at least a basic chipped usdm sr20 ecu and use the safc to fine tune. The timing map on the na sr20 ecu is too aggressive for a boosted setup. The cheapest way would be to find an avenier det ecu and fine tune from that starting point. Should be able to find the ecu and maf for about a hundred together and have a safer car. No point in going this far only to go boom not too far down the road.

it did come with a avenir ecu but it is for an automatic fail :/ so i plan on running the safc2 on the na ecu but just for now, i dont plan on making huge numbers, not even going to swap out the t25 until i get a Nisstune or full standalone of some kind.

Well worked on it all day yesterday got the n/a sr20 out dropped the new one in got all the sensors hooked up, built most of the intercooler piping. Just have a little more intercooler piping to get done, have to finish mounting the turbo (upgraded to a T28) build a downpipe then fill it with fluids and fire it up. Right now we are on a time crunch so only turning it up to 10lbs. Should still be plenty of fun for me.

almost out

WE GOT NO ENGINE DO WE TED?!?!?!

And All in almost finished up!!!!
