Its not hard to do the swap from 1.6 to 2.0 motor and its a lot more common these days as clean shells are harder to come bye. You just need to know what to get.

Having patience will pay off. The only cars I regret buying are the ones where I wasn't patient and bought something that was close or convenient rather than holding out for the right one. .

@Benito Malito, yea I have done that many times, and I am really trying to hold out for the right car this time, but man I really need a daily driver, because the weather is so volatile here I hate to drive my Z all the time, as it leaks a bit in the rain, the wipers are not the best, and it doesn't have a radio (When I drive the Z I am driving usually going out to carve the mountains)

Try a G20? They're pretty comfy, chassis/suspension is superior to the B14/200sx. I've had two 200sx and two P10 G20.

I wouldn't mind the G20's but there are so few here that I have seen.

Welcome.

We are a rare breed here in Colorado.

Thanks. I have been searching for either a 200SX Se-R or a Sentra SE local, but no one seems to want to answer their phone or email. It is getting rather frustrating. I have cash waiting to buy this car, but no one seems to want it, and I am really in need of a car. I am even toying with the idea of finding a nice one on the board and flying there and picking it up.

They guy who bought my SE-R when I moved to the west coast from LINY flew in from Ohio. That was back in '06. I've driven/flew across state lines for probably 1/2 dozen of these cars. The other half dozen I got right in my neighborhood.

My problem is I haven't actually driven one yet, so it is hard to justify flying somewhere to drive one home, if it was my second one it would be more conceivable, but what if I just don't like it that much.

Man if I hadn't already booked shipping for my NX I'd almost let you drive it to Chicago for me. Its worth it to go somewhere where rust is non-existent like PNW.
