Thread: Oxygen sensor/ Air to Fuel Gauge

I just keep posting in the new member section cuz this whole forum business is kinda confusing.. ANYWAYS, I have one O2 sensor that i am aware of but the three wires were cut and it isnt connected to anything (black, red, and white wires come off the o2 sensor).. i have no idea what they connect to

Also, i tried to hook up an air to fuel gauge to the o2 sensor anyways but the needle just bounces everywhere. i have the white wire hooked up to the gauge but there are two loose wires coming off the o2 sensor (black and red)

What model car B13 or B14?

Wires for the O2 sensor are usually Signal, Power, and heater or ground.
So there's no plug on the sensor to hook into your harness? A picture helps.

And as far as an Air:Fuel gauge, it will never stay in one place. It reads the exhaust gas for the amount of air in it; which changes when you accelerate, come to a stop, roll in gear, etc.
