Another New Member from Arizona
Hi There:

Just thought I'd say hello. I've been a motor sport enthusiast for more years than I care to remember, and at 63 am offically an "old fart!" Presently I autocross a Mazda Miata with my son and daughter, but we have a well-used Sentra SE-R in the garage and are hoping to get it up-and-running and enter it in either local autocross events or in rallycross which has just stared to become popular here.

Looking forward to reading up on all the technical information in the forum and to participate in discussions on improvements to our SR20DE engined Nissan.

Best Regards

Wonderful addition to the forum! I frequent here much more often than my 71-year old Father but I am sure you two could sit down and revel in the past memories of the motor sports world.

Welcome here, the more you post up, the more parts of the forum you can participate in. After a few more posts in this section, you can create a member's ride thread and share some of your cars with us (if you choose).

Enjoy your stay!

Hi Again:

Well I have a terminal problem with my much abused Sentra Se-R's engine. Much rattling and nasty noises coming from deep down. So, I was wondering if there is a preference for taking the engine out with a crane, or "dropping" it out the bottom? I've used both methods with other cars in the past and it seems from a quick look around that with the Sentra, coming out the bottom may be a bit easier.

Any comments are greatly appreciated, I'll be starting the job this coming weekend.

Welcome, and drop the engine out of the bottom for sure.

Wow - Fast Response!

Thanks, ny5speed. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I go along
