Thread: headliner replacement pic heavy

took a lot longer then expected, taking it out was a peice of cake,



but it took way too long to get all the old foam backing and adhesive off.


when i took it off i found this:


so i replaced it with some carpet liner from lows




finished result:

nice use of recycled materials, i hadnt thought of using carpeting foam, which is also made from recycled materials.

When I pulled it out it had some weird carpeting foam (the third pic). The closest I could.find was the carpet foam, and it was cheeper then the deading foam.

probably more hypo allergenic and lighter too, those old rag pads make me sneeze
