Thread: UPDATE!!! Canceled .STL guys i need some help!

Sorry guys the trans is not ready yet..i talked to Josh about rescheduling but in a month or so he is going to have his hands full, so i dont know if it will get done or not. No biggy though i think im going to get the ole girl cleaned up and put it up for sale with the trans and everything. Its getting new front brakes tomorrow and then shortly after ill throu up the for sale add. Thanks agian to everyone who was willing to volunteer their saturday. The guys who were coming we need to get together soon so i can still buy you all some pizza.

Saturday 7/19 at Fosters house we are planning on pulling my pop-out trans and putting in a different one along with a new clutch and rear main, I can use all the help i can get since ive never done it before and we have not got together in couple months. Pizza and drinks are on me. Hope to see you there because ill sure need the help!

Pm me or josh for directions , and i beleive we will start around 10 ish but ill will reconfirm that time.

I'll come over and give a hand, shouldn't really take more than a couple hours. If any tools are needed let me know. See ya there.

A 10 am start should be good. That gives me time to move stuff around in the garage, etc. We should be good on tools as long as I can find one of my clutch alignment tools.

Unfortunately I can't make it. I have my cousins wedding that day, in Wisconsin, and I'm an usher. Good luck with the clutch/ trans. swap. I've been contemplating holding a meet, as I need to install new motor mounts, water pump, thermostat, and flush the G's coolant.

Hey Josh the kit im buying from greg v comes with teh alignment tool i beleive he said. He has the kit with the seals, main and algn tool together.

No...i was just yanking to see if the guy would bite. He will never ever get 4 g for that car with a sohc d series and mesh rims. Hes taking all the decent stuff off the car. After he does that he has a 1500 dollar ef imho. I thought long and hard on keeping me se-r and i spent too dang long searching for a clean one. Did you ever get rid of your honda? I wish you could make it down Joe. Maybe another time when you do the G. My wifes needs motor mounts too, it would be nice to change em on both cars. I just want to do the uppers on hers.

Yup, the honda is long gone. I parted it out and made a good deal off of it. We'll hopefully have another fall cruise, if I'm still around the area. Good luck with the swap everyone. I can make it a week later, if you decide to postpone the adventure.
