Thread: Moving back to The Chi (IL) - anyone still doing engine swaps

Hey guys. I have been offered a job in Chicago and am considering moving back home (born in the Chi and raised in the south burbs). I am looking to purchase a VE to swap into my SE-L and just wondered if there is anyone in the region doing swaps still? I am totes willing to pay, but back in the day when I had my B15 (like a decade ago, lol) there were people doing swaps all the time. Is Mike Jez still around? I am so out of the car loop here I feel like a stranger.

Any shops that will do the swap at a reasonable price? Just trying to get an idea on how I can make this happen.

Also, is anyone interested in some Tomei Poncams? I bought them thinking I would stay with the DE for awhile, but VE is what I need!
