No tuning is required with a JWT ECU. There are gains to be had by further tuning but you can not adjust the JWT ECU. You will need an AFC NEO or similar.

So I guess I'm pretty much limited to as improvement with gains unless I go with an EMS like Megasquirt huh? I guess its alright since this build is just for a more comfortable daily.
The JWT is "tuned" so you should be good. They are a pretty safe tune but are better than stock. If you want something a little better you could convert to OBDI and use the Nismotronic NEMU. Cheaper than the options you mentioned and i could help with the tune as i am running it in my car. You will be fine with the JWT, i see no reason to change to anything else unless you want more down the road or you change setups.
