Maybe looking for spare/questionable SR20DE's...
I'm helping a local group with a SE-R that they race in the Chump Series. They have a couple spare engines (some with issues). I was curious if people in the Midwest (St. Louis preferred) had any spare blocks, cranks, heads, etc.

I'm sure the group would be willing to purchase a good head on a block that has a hole. Or a block that has a spun bearing, etc. High ports would be preferred, but low ports would be considered.

Shipping might be an issue, but they have members near Springfield, IL; St. Charles, MO; near Memphis (in Arkansas somewhere).

Let me know what you have, and if you are interested in cleaning up the garage.

I've got a stripped motor sitting in my garage, head is a lowport that just had new valves put in. Block is intact, no crank though.

Here is the team's website: Rusty

I got a crap load of spare parts like connecting rods, crankshaft valve cover, upper oil pan and crank shaft craddle, highport cams and a bunch of other stuff. For $100 you can have it all and I'm about an 1-1/2 hour drive from belleville on the illinois side. I gotta unload this stuff.

I have some cranks, cams and what not you can have. I am just kinda far away. Should have a block or 2 as well.

I have a spun bearing stock NA motor available (head is good and still connected) for $150 here in Chicago

I also have a lower powered good sr20 motor (lower on power due to blow by on the exhaust valves) but very clean and no spun bearings with a brand spankin new oil pan on it for $250 (the oil pan alone was $115 and hasn't been used) that we had planned on using in our own g20 until we realized it was down on HP (not what we wanted for trying to win 1st place with NASA)
