anyone know aem ems?
My buddy is running a series one in his b13. Got the thing running but it wont idle. Idk much aboutit, if anyone local wants to come by and help, would be greatly appreciated.

Called AEM they walked me through the whole setup of injectors all the sensors, everything. I DO NOT have the CAS disk they require you to install in the distributor but he said we could still start it up but recommends getting it(currently backordered from AEM directly). We changed the battery offset and also changed the injectors and the pressure. We timed it without the car running and the timing was jumping 7-9* when cranking. We then got it close to zero tried starting and it would start but not stay idling. My other buddy and I played around with it alittle more changing the battery offset and fuel pressure. As we were cranking it, we were addin some antifreeze and it seemed to run alot better. It then it began to idle and did so for about 5min he kept adding some anti freeze. Then the car just died and we couldn't get it to idle again after that. Tried resettin the timing and changing the fuel pressure once again and the battery offset. Nothing. Tried adjusting the distributor,TPS, and the idler control valve....still nothing. Looked for loose connections....nothing. here is another AEM paperweight lol.
Any help is appreciated.

Hey man, I was gunna reply but I thought you were looking for local help only. I can help as best I can from here, but you're gunna have to carry the load, and you should really have a good grasp on how engine management works to begin with if you're going to mess around and try to tune this thing yourself.

Otherwise, I have no idea who can help get it tuned in your area.

It should idle using the base calibration. Is that what you're using?

Well local would just be more convenient lol but right that really doesnt matter.
We uploaded the base cal. I then had to change injector sizes because I have 1000cc presisions. Had to chance to the AEM 3.5 bar map, and the AEM ait sensor. I had to wire in resistors and some gauges. Lime I said it idled perfect for about 5min or so and just shut down. Now we can't get it to idle.
