put the car ,front on jackstands...
car in neutal, spin the wheels by hand...is ths noise there?
now put the car in say 3rd gear and let it idle...is the noise there?
i had a problem with my trans making a noise,driving, rolling,in neutral whetever...i replaced the trans and no more problems.... the niose/gringing could be felt in the shifte and gas pedal....at any speed and any gear....
drain the trans fuild and look for shavings...
