Mr. Foltz is not the most savory of people and made it seem like this was a daunting task. Sure you are playing with thousands of pounds of force on three points on your beam. As long as you do it properly, secure it, support it, and track what you are doing.
I think it is easy despite the fact I have not done it or tried it. Meh.

Steve is a very up-front, professional guy. The daunting part of the task is getting enough people to commit and pony up the money. When we did ours in Georgia a couple of years ago, we saved money by having Steve stay at my house. I spent the entire weekend with him and found him to be very friendly, but no-nonsense. In order to make our "party" work, I had to offer to pay a double share in order to meet the minimum number of cars. I figured it would cost me much more to drive to him in Colorado. At the last minute, we found one more and I got my one share of money back. Someone needs to take responsibility for signing up people, collecting the money and working out the trip details with Steve. In other words, it takes a project manager. Steve doesn't have time to do it on his end.
The actual bending takes 45 minutes to an hour per car. Sometimes Steve will hit it exactly on the first bend and it goes much quicker. Other times, he has to make two or three tries. He doesn't want to overbend it because it is nearly impossible to correct it on the car.
When he was here, he was open to selling his fixture and training someone to use it.
Is bending worth it? Definitely. I wouldn't own another B14 or B15 if I couldn't get the beam bent. People will spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars but balk at spending a few extra hundred for the best suspension modification out there for the B14.
