Wisconsin Emmisions Testing...
I think I ran into a real issue. Some of you know that I will be moving to Wi in about a month from now... and I just realized that there is emissions testing up there. I just recently swapped to a Ve with no EGR. And I'm running a p10 ECU and throwing 2 codes. One for rear o2 and the other for the EGR. Now keep in mind that the pins in the ECU have not been swapped.

Also... what about the intake? I'm running a short ram with a BPi flow stack and K&N filter.

The car is running a little rich... just a tad because of the DE injectors.

Should I worry? I have never had to deal with emissions here in Florida.. so I honestly don't know what to expect. Any information is appreciated.

damn, I wonder if you can keep the VE from switching lobes to keep emissions down?

I know we don't have emissions testing here is Madison, but I think over by Milwaukee they might. My brother lives in Kenosha and they have emissions testing, but his car is registered here in Madison.

Where in WI are you moving to? Depending on what county you live in there is no emission testing and if there is.. there are ways around it

Customarily kept in one of the following seven southeastern Wisconsin counties:
Kenosha
Milwaukee
Ozaukee
Racine
Sheboygan
Washington
Waukesha

if your not in one of those counties, consider yourself emissions free. otherwise all they do is plug and play. rid the codes, pass, your clear for 2 years iirc.

In Denver, they don't care about the codes only the emissions test. I'd dbl check the rules.

Well there goes that.... I hope it's not code issues... Because that's going to suck. Like I said..I have P0136 and P0400. Looks like I need to work on the ecu plugs..

Just get a JWT/Calum ecu you wont throw any codes and you'll pass. If your b14 is a 95 you don't need to go.
