Anybody from WI/IL/IN bringing a trailer to convention?
Hey Im planning on driving the z out there, but Im trying to figure out a back up plan incase anything happens on the way there or back and I dont really intend on bringing a trailer because I think the car will make it no problems.. Is anybody bringing a trailer and incase anything happens would be able to help me out?

Would definetly throw 150-250 your way.

Just drove last night from Chicago to Des-Moines which is about 3 hours from Omaha. Not a bad drive at all. Very smooth. The MPH jumps to 70 in Iowa once you past the quad cites. Gas is way cheaper to. I left Chicago at 12:30 and Arrived at 5:30. Didn't even feel like 5 hours. I paid $2.37 a gallon for regular.

i recently did the trip saturday night myself. well almost. drove from milwaukee to cedar rapids. left at 945, got there at about 130am or so. then again i diddnt drive through chicago, i went from milwaukee, to madison, to 151 south towards debuque, and 151 all the way down to cedar rapids. its about 4 hours give or take if you go 5 over the speed limit all the way.

its not a hard drive by any means. takes a little bit less than 9 gallons on in the auto b15 at 75mph.

iowa's gas is subsidized by the state to promote ethanol gas. the car seems to like it. 89 octane is cheaper than 87 octane there.

I'm in Cedar Rapids right now
I'm thinking about taking 20 the scenic route back in the b15. I'm so happy I got rid of the matrix and got the SE now for my work road trips. With more power and the 5 speed its so much fun.

quit rubbing it in . i kick myself everyday saying that i was this close to having it finally in my b15.

the scenic route is cool, but it gets boring to me after awhile. i always seemed to get stuck behind a truck of some sort.

Dude if your not sure bring your own trailer setup. Very few people who are trailering their car will want to take it off to take your busted stuff home....
