i just got another Classic SE-R and wanting to see if anyone was still running around in the KC area or not.

yes it does. startin to sound like you know this car pretty well.

WOW. I owned it back in 2001. At the time of sale, it had a rebuilt auto with original engine and daily driven by my younger brother. I always wondered how much beating it would take. The painted console, suction vents on dashboard and couple other items were a test that didn't go o so perfect. I'll have to show you how a hidden secret under the hood one day I missed that car dearly.

Not sure if you have seen one of the video compilations (link in sig below), it is in there.. you'll know which one.. it had a "hotshot performance" sticker behind rear passenger side window and a front view.

well its still running, i got it with a new timing set, computer, and distributor installed. the old guy couldn't get it to run so i bought it for $200 and just had to rewire the MAF, it had a broken wire. was the tranny rebuilt stock or did you do something to it? i can't get it to shift right. when you take off it goes to 2500 and then slams into 2nd. i've tried everything i can do. PM me your number or i can send you mine. I have more ??'s about it. how many miles was on it when you guys sold it?

Does it 'chirp' tires as it shifts into second? Tranny was rebuilt to stock specs but simply strengthened a bit. Goal was not power. It was simply so that it can handle day-to-day driving plus some spirited fun. Is the comfort/sport still active?
