They are going really well. I have received my negotiated terms. I now have to decide if I want to take the job. I've had offers from Chicago and Lafayette,IN as well. lol, idk where the hell I'll be going. Probably KS! I'll know tomorrow probably.

Well, I've accepted the offer, but am waiting on the job offer letter to sign. Nothing is official until I sign it. All roads point to Lenexa at this point though. Tentative starting date is Feb. 18th.

Got any advice on where to live?? I'll be living in an apartment.

thanks, I'll have to make an official announcement this week. I have family in Belleville, so I'll still come back and visit.

There are some good apartments spread all over in Lenexa. I have never lived in these but have heard some good reviews for the one on 95th & Renner rd. Lenexa is one of the decently spread cities (its not large but narrowly spread between Kansas). I work in Lenexa but live about 20 min away from there.

wow, looks like we'll be working in the same city. Might see ya around town. what city do you live in?

I've been looking at some apartments in overland park as well. I'm looking for about a 15-20 minute driving radius max from Lenexa. I'm trying to find one thats kind of close to the long bike trails in the area because I like to ride my bike. Most of the decent apartments are in the $600's+, which is a little expensive, but not as bad as somewhere like Chicago.

I've been using apartmentratings.com, but the problem with that site is the majority of the reviews are negative, I guess, because most of the people go on there to complain. The problem, is that since most of the reviews are negative, it makes it seem like almost all the apartments in the entire area is bad lol. I found five, so far, that I plan on checking out. I'll have to find out which one is on 95th and Renner.

Also, your car has a similar setup to what I plan on building. I know I'll need help

Thanks for the info!

I live in Olathe. I went and drove around Overland Park and know of a good apartment by 119th & Quivira. Some have called them a tad bit expensive. However, they are clean and have a very nice bicycle ride trails. This is also maybe 8 miles away from a very nice 'corporate woods' trail (known by local riders for its nice parks). I've done two MS150 rides in the last two years but haven't been to the local rides.

Yep, glad to see another similiar SR set-up. I love it. Since it's a daily driver, I wasn't looking for a monstrous ride and this performs more than I expected!
