Thread: help set timing

I was wondering if anyone around me could set the timing for me. i dont know how to do it. i live by midway airport. the car runs so i can always meet you somewhere.

have you tired it on your own at all?is this for a de,det,ve?and what timing would you like to set it at?

its a DET. i know my timing is off so i want to set it to stock or even advance it

i could guide you through it...but ive only done it two times tho..... its esay to tell with a timing light(if yiou can read the pulley makings) then take it for a drive......do you have any data meters?(safc,tectom,aem ems)?
