Thread: Oct. 11th Real Street Drags @ WIR Kaukauna, WI.

They are having the Real Street Drags at WIR dragstrip in Kaukauna, WI. on Saturday, Oct. 11th. Gates open from 10am - 5pm. Helmet required.

There is a group of us going from Madison. We'll be leaving around 8:30 am. If anyone wants to caravan down with us they are welcome to.

Ya, the first one was this past Friday night. They have it posted on their website, Oct. 11th. I'm really looking forward to running my NX and see what she can do. I ordered up a helmet, so I should be good to go.

I live a mile from there but I was planning on going to morris IL for a rat rod car show that weekend depending on the weather. My starter is currently shot so I have to pop the clutch to move it but I'll see if my bro will bring it there. It can be a mini sr20 meet.

Bump. It's coming up this Saturday. I'm geting pretty excited. Weather is supposed to be perfect, sunny and 75 degrees.

We've been talkin and it sounds like WIR real street drags will be bunk. No times, no tree.WTF? We are talkin about going to great lakes tomorrow night. Ben, I know your going with us.

They are trying to make a street racing environment hoping to keeo people from doing it on the roads as much. I think this is there third year that the rsd (http://www.rsdforums.net/) guys have been doing it there. If they use the tree you will still get a time slip but they won't post it on the board for everyone to see. At all the other events they use the tree unless you tell them you want to do a street race against someone.
