If I'm not mistaken, the hub bolts on a B13 are pressed in, right? What are your thoughts on just drilling out the one with the broken lug and pressing in a new one? Are they/can you drill through hardened steel?

the rear hub is held in by a big ass nut.

we have the take the caliper off. and then remove the hub, rotor and wheel together.

Hell, I'll probably buy a couple more once I get a house with a garage.

why not just use an air hammer and punch the sucker out? or are the splines striped and you cant remove the lug nut?


if the splines are striped see if you can tack weld the head of the stud to the rear of the hub, impact the nut off then cut the tack weld and replace the stud.


BTW im the guy that was there for an hour with the subaru.

yeah there is no way thats going to work. the ****ing lug broke at the base were the threads start on the stud so its flat all the way across. plus his wheels are like sucken in were the lug nuts are the air impact will **** everything up.. its going to be gay!

That was your Legacy GT? Nice ride, I've always liked them.
