Thread: Possible relocation.... TEXAS

Well guys as the saying goes... All good things must come to an end....

i might be moving to Fort Hood Texas in the next 2 weeks.. My Father got orders with no kind of notice ( 3 weeks) Usually the ARMY gives at least between a 3 to 6 month warning to prepare for the move. We just bought a house my sister just got excepted to medical college. I dont have a place to stay as of yet so i might have to tag along and make a living in texas........ I waited a week before i said anything for the simple fact that my dad has gotten out of orders before so i did not want to jump the gun. But this time there is no turning back. His unit will be deployed to Iraq (again) this sept. which is probably the reason he is getting such a short notice...

It has been fun having all these mini meets at the shop and meeting all you guys. MD has the best members and i will never forget you guys if i do move....It sucks and i really dont want to move but i might not have a choice..............Im trying my best to find a place but people want way to much money for not so great places.... i will keep you guys posted

Living in DC is pretty expensive. The only way is probably to get a room mate and live with them...

thats the plan man. i have a roomate and my chick so thats 3 people. We have all have split up and started to look for places and hopefully one of us find a nice place thats not so expensive...i dont want to move trust me. i been relocating every 2 to 3 years my whole life and im just tired of moving. this has been the longest i have been in one place. i pretty much call this place home now all my friends are here and starting over just seems like to much work...

this will be the second time my dad goes to iraq... stupid ass good for nuthing war!
