Ebay, sometimes craigslist. Buy older cans of name brands like NAPA, Cold Shot, etc. The new stuff from foreign countries can be contaminated.

You can either take the test online to get certified for refrigerants (it's like $10-$15) or provide them with a statement that you will sell the cans to a reseller.

You'll also need some oil.

do I need to bring anything for anyone? I forget, all i remember is Rob's stuff.

Well, my valve fell back into place so, I don't REALLY need to take the head off anymore.

Since I already made plans on a rebuild/upgrade, I might as well go with it. I already have some eagle rods, head studs, most of the updated valve train stuff (springs and retainer, lifter and rockers), picking another set of forged piston this weekend. so, at the end all i'm really spending $$ is the VVL oil bump, vvl metal head gasket and machine work.

The only problem is that's going to add another 3-4 weeks to my build. all i'm going for is 400 whp at 15psi. should i rebuild/upgrade or not?

What turbo are you gonna use? And what are you going to rev up to and what cams?
