Summer Cookout/Meet Central and NoVA
Hey guys and gals,
What would you guys think of a Nissan/SE-R meet in the Central VA area? I was talking to a friend of mine from MySpecV who is from Richmond about organizing a meet/cookout. I was thinking Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield since you don't have to reserve it and the parking is pretty decent. It's pretty much right off of 288 or maybe Eagle Rock ( I think that's the name) near Chesterfield Airport. They have good parking, basketball, pavillions, etc. I think it's time we had some fun locally! Any suggestions, help organizing, etc. would be appreciated! ForZwin I could your help in organizing this!

I don't know man, there isn't much love out here...and I doubt any of the NOVA/MD guys would make the drive down.

You still have to pay to rent pavilions at Pocahontas, and addition to that you have to pay to park there . I think if you are looking for a place to have it, Rockwood would be a better idea. It's near hull st and allows us a fair amount of freedom when it comes to setting something up. We've done a few supra meets out there in the past with no problems. Plus that area wouldn't be bad to start a post-cookout cruise, I know a few good routes from there.

If there is any interest, maybe we'll get the ball rolling...

Trust me it wasn't overlooked. If this ever happens, it's a couple months out at least, we just dont enjoy the same enthusiasm that you have up there lol.
