Need help in the Pittsburg area
I am looking fo a new car for my wife as hers is starting to wear out. It's a 2001 Quest with a little over 148k miles. The cat on the manifold is going bad and the damn thing is going to cost close to $1200 in parts alone. It's been a good vehicle for a long time (we bought it new), but it needs some other little things as well and I don't see it as a good investment to fix anymore.

Tiffany is in college and Kimme is a senior in high school, and with both girls in their own cars now, we don't really need something as big as the minivan anymore. Gloria has driven my daughter Tiffany's 2001 SE on numerous occasions and has decided she would be like one as her daily driver. I found this one on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190236783229&rd=1

I need proof as to how it looks and runs if possible. It is located in Pittsburgh, Pa. Anyone able to help out?

Joe

I might be able to help, ask them where they are located. Are you sure you want to buy a car that's going to rust though? Unless its much cheaper than the comparable cars in your area its not worth the risk imho.

Agreed, I finally got a chance to talk to the guy today and he's holding a $6500 reserve. Too much for me on that particular car. And having lived near Buffalo til I was 18, I know that even good looking northern cars have rust waiting somewhere to pop out.
