thoughts on vet
well i got a few questions.i have a sr20vet i am building but due to machine shop and money the bottom end will not be done for another month or 2. now i have a roller rocker motor i got for cheap and dont really care about so i am going to put the ve head on it and throw a turbo on it. i have 1.6 non n1 cams and stock 2.0 cams. this leads to my questions #1 if i run the 1.6 cams will the valves hit the piston? #2i have a jwt ecu tuned for n1cams and n60maf. will this get me by untill i finish my other motor so i wont have to get a tune twice (i will be running the n60). #3 if i did this what would the compression be and how much boost could i run (like i say i dont really care about the bottom end).

Keep in mind RR oil pumps are weak, you might not have enough oil pressure to pop VVL. My RR+T doesn't get above 60psi even on cold starts.

boost the stock rr or boost the stock ve garuntee you dont break it

you arent tuning anything on a jwt computer sorry unless you have a piggyback

also that tune prob isnt for a turbo setup which will result in bad news

pull the wastegate line and go for a third gear pull thats how much boost you can run

I am just doing a temporary setup. Untill i finish my bottom end. The jwt isnt setup for boost that is why i was asking. As far as tune im talking about sending the ecu back for retune untill i can afford another standalone
