Thread: Need help for my bud; 94G20T auto transmission problems

Hey; My good friend who I sold a G20 has been having trouble.

He is in Stroudsburg PA and the engine popped on his way over the Rockies from Seattle. Then the shop that replaced the engine fucked up the axle install so it ran out of tranny fluid and fried the differential. The next shop he took it to quoted him $2400 for the rebuild so we're in the market for an auto tranny, auto tranny LSD, some help, antyhing to get him up and running.

IF anyone could step up and help a really cool guy and old friend of mine I'd really appreciate it. I'm scouring u-pull yards and CL so if you see something post here.

I have a 93 sentra se-r as a parts car and its auto. I don't know if it will work but thought ill post and try to help. It needs a new filter cover since it has a hole in it from slipping off the jack while removing it. I believe it has around 160k miles on it.

theere is a 2001 se auto at pick n save in lynchburg va a tranny only cost $90ish and it is already sitting in the back seat of the car.

I'll let my bud know. he's trying to get it together but he needs something that will bolt on pretty much straight up.
