No one else was dynoing after lunch, and it's a shame for the dyno to be open on a dyno day! So John and I got to work on the P11. Started out around 206whp (224whp) at 10 psi. We first fixed up the fueling to be 11.5-12, then started adding timing, 5* extra made a huge increase. By the time we were done P11 made 236whp (257whp) on 10 psi.
Decided to up the boost and see what she can do, adjusted the MBC yet the PSI stayed the same. Completely removed the wastegate feed, still only 10psi! My AGP wastegate has a 6psi or so spring, and I didn't preload it nearly enough (probably not even 1mm). This caused the wastegate to just flop open no matter what we did. Plan is to adjust the preload to be 3mm, and will see what she does then.
My setup is fairly simple. Roller Rocker, VE Valve springs, lowport intake mani, avenir exhaust mani and a GT28r. Some minor port work to the exhaust manifold and turbo. Overall I'm impressed with what the roller rocker put down with 120k miles on the clock. SR20 Strong!
My max power was at 6600 rpm, which is around the stock redline. Thus with stock cams it's pointless to even have VE valve springs (and rev to 7500rpm). Car feels much better above 4k rpm! To top it off I got 30mpg driving up and then dynoing for over an hour, not too shaby!
Overall awesome day big thanks to @JKTUNING for having us over!
