ok. after getting my fifth block from rob i finally decided that this block was good and i took it to the machine shop for decking, honeing, measureing for bearing sizes yadda yadda. i find out the piston skirts are badly worn and un-useable, the cyl walls are scratched and need to be bored out. however the engine currently has a grade 2 piston in it already and thats the only piston size gregV sells.

i have ONE block sitting here in the shop and i mesure an 85.9mm bore. if i can use this block and bore it out to accept grade 2 pistons i will use it. if i can not use this block i am done. i have not enjoyed moddifying my car at all for awhile now.......hell i really dont even like driving it anymore. if this block is un-useable i will be selling the car.................done. i need no words of encouragement because i have made up my mind. im sick and tired of spending all my money on my cars and not haveing enough to move out of my parents house.



end rant. start making offers now, i will entertain any and all offers as long as i dont loose a **** load of money.

bore it to 87 mm man, whats so stressfull about that, grab some pistons, reinstall the motor and be done.

he's staying N/A, that means he have to spend more $$ for piston and he already have some 10:1's

5th block!?!?!?!

yup, we have 5 blocks at the shop. all belong to Pete. actually we have 4 blocks, I think Brad got one of them.

1 had piston slap, 1 had a chuck of cyl wall missing, 1 had huge ring grooves, 1 had more piston slap, 1 had no bearing in #1 rod and crank was JACKED and cyl were good............bigger than grade 3 pistons i will not buy expencive aftermarket pistons. current has scratched cyl walls.
