It's really all because of the mortgage - remember, I purchased my first house in July after about 8 years of renting. House prices in this area are relatively high, and my monthly payments were high enough to completely stop me from buying *anything* for the car since the first bill came in the mail besides a clutch cable. I used to go Autozone at least twice a week, but not lately. And it seems like it's just being wasted.
I put it up Craigslist after getting into a big fight w/ the fiancée about it to get her to chill out for awhile. She doesn't get it. She wants hardwood floors and new kitchen cabinets; she doesn't understand why I keep a 1992 Sentra in the garage and why we leave the '12 Impreza and '06 Altima in the driveway/street. If I really wanted to sell it I'd put it on here and find a good buyer. I don't really expect to on CL, I'd like to keep it for the winter but it will just sit in the garage (to avoid road salt) but I figured someone would prob find it and post it in this thread, but I wasn't going to post it myself. If someone found it though, that's cool with me Craiglist is good to gauge interest. And ok ok, it may not be the cleanest in 250 miles but it's pretty close
I know there are some really nice ones in NYC and a bit south, but everytime I've seen one except in about 2 occasions there's a different color body panel, a hole in the exhaust, water in the headlights etc. Regardless though I put well over $6k into that car not counting how much I purchased it for originally with the 5th gear going and head gasket, alternator, sway bars, new clutch etc.)
So it goes. I can go either way. Don't want to sell it, but could use the money. House has to take priority, I don't live in my car, although if I could find a way to I would like to some nights when you know who is in one of her moods. The car has only about two months left before it goes into hibernation until like April, so I figured if someone wants it between now and garage time it will save me time and I won't have to winterize it. But I'd suggest to the buyer that they keep it garaged because salt is the #1 killer in the B13, what's left of them, anyway.
