Thread: Pottstown, Pa cruise night

Most people have probably never heard of Pottstown, but it was at one time considered the "Cruising Capital of the East" by a couple of car mags. Not much to do out here, so meeting on High street was it. Hanging out with friends and picking up girls. I enjoyed it through a good portion of the 80's and into the 90's (yes I'm that old :mad until the city clamped down on it and turned it into a ghost-town.

It has been making a comeback to some degree for the last year or so and now there is a Facebook group dedicated to it and sponsering cruise nights. It looks like the next big one is scheduled for September. Here's the FB link if anyone is interested: High Street Cruise Nights | Facebook

The wife and I took the kids out last year to show them what we used to do. What a flashback. At any rate, if anyone is into it when it comes around I'm less than a mile off the strip and was thinking of possibly throwing something together at my place beforehand, but at this point it's just a thought. There's a sweet, restored 1930's garage directly across the street from my place that may be a good group photo op: Clicky here

Nice one todd ! They have meets and cruises at the hooters on street rd every thursday nite during the summer and its not just all muscle car to.
