If you put it in backwards the long part of the clutch that has the springs would hit the flywheel bolts.. Its most likely the clutch disk spring failed on you. edit. By the way it was a JGY clutch six puck....and the other was clutchnet both times the springs broke
you would think that yes....but when youv bee up for 24 hours straight and had a few beers, youd be surprised what "fits". ive seen it happen. I expect its in backwards or the spring popped out. i JUST delt with spring failure myself. on a nw clutch though id be a LITTLE surprised though. hope it n easy fix for him either way. usually is.
