Thanks for your answers, Keo and Slow96R. Please bear with me, as I have zero experience modifying OBDII cars. For OBDII cars in MD, my understanding is that there is no tailpipe test, they just hook up a scanner to the OBD port. (That's what hey did to my Maxima) Would this be correct for the G20 that we are looking at?
Assuming so, then what Keo is talking about is the question of what is needed to pass the scan. According to new posts in the sales thread, there are 2 CELs that are showing with OBDII - CPS and rear O2 sensor. I could install a rear O2 sensor or resistor without much trouble to remove one of the CELs. Can you tell me any more about installing a Crank Position Sensor (CPS)? Would it be obvious exactly where to drill the hole, for example?
