Thread: 2011 Convention Caravan

Time to start planning this. The Southeast Inland Caravan:

If you are joining us, please add your name to the list and where you are meeting us. I am going to check out a meeting place for the Atlanta peeps Monday when I am on the I-85 north of 285 side of town. If you are local to one of our other stops (Charlotte or Richmond) please suggest a good meeting location.

From Atlanta north on I-85 passing through Charlotte, NC and then going north on I-95 passing through Richmond, VA on the way to Millville, NJ. From Atlanta it is about 4 hours to Charlotte and then another 4 hours to Richmond (or not??), so it makes sense to start looking for meeting locations in those areas. Time wise it makes sense to plan on meeting in the Charlotte area for breakfast and the Richmond area for lunch.

I know that I would like to be at the hotel between 5 and 6 on Thursday. Back tracking from there we would need to leave Richmond by 1 pm. We arrive in Richmond approx 11 am and get lunch. Need to roll out of Charlotte by 7 am. Arrive in Charlotte at 6 am and get some breakfast. Rolling out of the ATL at 2 am.

Im def in. As of now i plan on meeting up with Joe and others in Atlanta. Not sure if folks are coming over from Nashville. If so, I might hook up with them in Chattanooga then head to Atl.

I am in, I will monitor your posts closely to see what time you guys hit Richmond, probably a good idea that we PM each other with cell #'s, what I would like to do is join up with you as you roll through Petersburg, Fort Lee is 30 secs off I95.

In like Flynn. Gonna start looking for a hel-mut (hehehe), and will likely track the scoob. Got the suspension on the way, gonna need to buy the tie bars and strut tower bars and some other goodies. Need some star specs too.

Oh, and we need to add Classicaddict (Pete Rollins) as he'll likely go as well. He's in AFBT right now so doesn't have access to the outside world.
