I was just talking with some members on the Legacygt forum about this. Seems like a great idea and the price definitely seems pretty enticing. I am planning to check it out for my 90k mile service/ basic oil changes.

They have done for for ages on military bases, except rates are alot lower ...few years ago when i frequented one 5/hr for open bay 8/hr for lift, all came with tool set and free tools to use just had to sign them out, then sweep and mop bay when u finished.

Ive always thought it was a great idea to do in the public sector also.

Yep! Rates at an Auto Craft Shop are much cheaper, however the idea is excellent and they should be able to turn a profit easily. The downside: Clients breaking tools accidentally, and expendable items being depleted. I could see why the rates are a bit higher, to cover those costs.
