Thread: Looking for car....

Hey guys I am looking for a shell to put my stock set-up in as I am having issues with my daily driver. Leaking trunk and windshield with no luck getting either fixed. Looking for sentra, NX or possibly a 200SX if price is good. Hopefully stay under 1500 since it is my beater.
If anyone knows of anything please comment back. Plus for local guys i should be at park this saturday if my transmission is fixed in time.

why cant you fix a trunk and windsheild? the trunk is probly the tail light. pull both lights and clean all the old garbage off. then buy some strip caulk and reinstall.

for the windsheild, call glassmasters here in baltimore and they will replace it for $150. iv had 2 windsheilds from them and they are great.

classicaddict I have the new tail lights and all ready to go in. I think it is leaking around the top seal also as the torsion bars that help keep the trunk shut and assist with opening are gone. I tried replacing them with no luck, ended up bending the brackets that hold the torsion bars.
Also the windshield has been pulled and resealed like 3 times since I have owned it and still leaks. It has ruined the entire interior which I have have newer ready to go in just want to have all the issues fixed first.
Thats why i was looking for a shell. We will see after this weekend as I am putting the new tail lights in and trying to get the trunk issue fixed.

If the trunk is leaking there, check the sealant at the bottom of the rear window. mine was all crusty and leaking. I put some more rtv on and it's good now.
