Apparently Jeff has gone through 2 ve heads, both with bent valves AND valve marks on his pistons. I think hes planning to use a dremel to fly-cut the pistons.

Exactly Z, I already got the pistons marked up, so I just need to drill a little. Easier than swapping to VET pistons.

So why not take them out and do it?

What about all the metal shavings?

The plan is to tape down the whole top of the block and cutting holes for each cylinder, then taking my time and follow the marks to slightly cut them down.

Serious hack job man, your engine will not last long. Remove the pistons and do it right, taping and a shop vac will not remove all metal shavings and you will end up scaring your cylinder walls.......c'mon joel, teach the young buck right

Naghebe showed up and trumped our idea so we did it the right way and took them out. Gotta find some VET pistons now
