Oh yes I did read it, just further proving your discovery

Let us know how it does, better do close to 300 on that 28

WELL...

It made 287whp@279tq at 20lbs at peak tq holding at 17psi at peak hp.

I was being very conservative with the timing and fuel. I like driving the car so i didnt want to push it too far. plus the difference between 287hp and 300hp in a fwd car with show little noticable effect.

I am happy with 287whp. I hope it will yield a low 12 second pass.

What kind of changes would need to be made on the fuel and timing map for going from 93 octane to 110 octane?

Like a whole new animal now aye?

Low 12 second pass is a lot harder than it sounds... I've seen 450 RWHP S13s on autocross tires barely pull off a 12.2. The numbers say you should be there, but the chassis might have a different idea.

Going to 110 octane should require no tuning changes to keep similar power. Changes to the fuel and/or timing can be made, but they don't have to be.

Well honestly i will be happy with a 12.99.

The fastest ive been in the car was a 14.1.

I have 22 inch slicks, traction bars, the car is mildly gutted, and i have a somewhat stiff suspension so i think 12.99 is an attainable goal.

I think that just putting 110 in right now will make less power. I was under impression that you should run leaner and with more timing with higher octane to make more power. im just not sure where to make the changes on the map. or what afr should be my goal for a certain octane.

Dustin,

glad to see you had solved the issue,

if the car still feels like its breaking up under boost re check all your couplers and also make sure all the exhaust manifold bolts are tight.

Pm Serban he has a couple good programs for the Calum .

287whp@279tq at 17 psi sounds about right but with the 520cc inj, Z32 mafs and S4 cams 300hp is very attainable with the right tune.
