sorry p'dud for missing you, we hung around til 4-ish Im pretty sure...might I suggest showing up around 1 at the latest for an afternoon meet. I hope the drive wasn't too long for you.

I think after talking to Adam while at the meet, we'll have him organize the beginning of summer meet and Jensen and I will organize the end of summer meet.
Basically think of it as us having a south and north meet every summer.

Sorry you missed us. But, in all fairness...we did post a start time of 11a. Me, and a couple other guys were actually there until like 5...but it looked like rain, and I had a 2hr drive back to Hagerstown lol. I'm sure your drive from Silver Spring wasn't much shorter...sorry bro.

If that's cool with everyone, I'm with it; and I'm sure Rob would even like to co-host with me again. And we should make a plan right now that we're going to have these meets on a certain weekend every year. Like, the End of Summer Meet can be Labor Day weekend, and the Begining of Summer Meet can be...let's say, the last Saturday in May. (That would be the 29th next year.)

I also would like to start planning a track meet for the fall. I may start a thread for that soon.

I think scheduling a meet every labor day can be tough because I think a lot of people always want to do holiday type things, but this is something more we can plan on later.

Honestly i just dont get it. i get more people to come to the shop at once then people go to the meet! whats the deal with that? everyone wants a meet and when we organize one people wanna bitch about the date and when we finally get a date that people can agree on nobody shows up?

in all honestly lest and adamn what the point of spending all this energy on getting a meet done and then only a couple of peeps show up? if we are going to have a meet i want alot of people to come like the one i had in grace and the first one we had at adams park. everyone needs to stop flaking out. people bring food and supplys according to the list and when half the list does not even show up lots of things go to waste.

Woah, there needs to be some sort of meet with wrenching going on, which really can't happen at a park. The impromptu meets usually turn out to be the best (at least for the past couple of years). Someone's putting in a motor or swapping a trans or something and people tend to show up and make a afternoon of it.

^^ Agreed. I've had fifteen SR's at my house 'by accident' after telling one person I was doing an engine swap by myself in my garage that day

I wanted to make in Sunday, even talked to Jen about it Saturday when I was at his shop...but alas a frozen rear caliper put a stop to me showing up.

Im guilty of not making any meets in awhile, except for the "by accident" meet at brads. I hate coming if my car isnt running and also last weekend is never good for me. I was planning on doing something like the first meet we had out at my buddys house but that kinda fell through. Alot of people seem like there going to have there S together soon so maybe like someone said above a late fall meet. Turbos love cold weather!
