Thread: Official End of Summer meet 2009!!! Labor day weekend

I actually just had Rob (robchaos) order one from Hose Techniques. He has a vendor account and got it for me for like $27 (normally like $48!!!) so I'm good. I'm just hoping it get's to me before the meet. Otherwise I'll be limping in with no boosts. It's funny though, because we put some RTV, and some rubber sealing tape, and even some duct tape to try to at least...contain the leak a little...but now the air just leaks past the tape and it sounds like a duck call. lol

But anywho...I'm gonna whip my home-made BBQ sauce together tonight, and it'll be ready for Forum Consumption on Sunday. And not to toot my own horn here...but this sh*t is f*cking delicious, let me tell ya. I think I'm even gonna try to make up a label...lol. But yeah, see you guys in a few days then!!!

Someone probably needs to secure the place by 9am. So sometime before that, I guess maybe around 830 to be safe.

SH*T! I didn't realize this was 2 freakin' hours away. lolerskates. No matter...I'll be there. Probably by 10-10:30a HOPEFULLY with a nice 90* coupler in-hand.

It shouldn't be that bad, about 1.5 hrs unless traffic craps on you. Jensen and i endure a regular 1.5 to 2.5hr trip to get to most meets.

Oh I know. The last meet that I hosted with Rob was over an hour from me. I just hadn't checked until today, lol. But yeah, definitely 2+ hours from Williamsport. But it's mostly on 70 and 695 so what 'ev. Plus I love driving. It'll be especially good if my car is fixed. But yeah, I live about an hour from anyone that I know lol.

Oh, as for the leak...there's a 90* soft hose that connects two pipes between the throttle body, and the intercooler...we found a big crack in that hose (a good 3 inches long). The new coupler is on it's way...just hoping it get's here before Sunday. If not in time for me to fix it before the meet, then hopefully I will have it, and can at least bring it to the meet and put it on there.
