Looking for a LSD tranny locally!!
I am looking for a nice decent low mileage LSD tranny tranny with both axles in the pa, jersey, delaware area for trade for a gtir t28 turbo in excellent condition that comes with oil and water lines along with the O2 pipe . I am asking 360 for the turbo because of how good of condition its in, so cash will be needed on top of the tranny unless the axles included are in very good condition if not then a clutch or flywheel will need to be thrown in

lmk

Mine is cracked slightly, internals are fine and I have no axles. I will sell it cheap tho....say 100 bucks? I can get more than that if I take it to a scrapyard and get paid in weight for it.

Dude I will take it!!! Is this weekend good? LMK what time and day and i am there.

Also if its not much trouble can you take a pic of the crack? If not no biggie as long as it doesn't cause any issues. 2 more questions.....how many miles on it and does it have 5th gear popout???

thanks and I hope to come get it soon! I am growing very very tired of this one wheeler....

I will take pics of it right now for you to see. It has that film of oxidation on it so it is not pretty looking, but with some TLC, it can be new again. I will take many pictures for you so you can make a better decision.

The story behind this transmission:
This has been sitting since 12/12/2006 on my deck but kept in many trash bags so the environment could not harm it. I tried and I think I did a pretty good job, but I am no perfectionist. It has what I would guess at most 130,000 miles on it. It does not have the 5th gear pop-out (It is from a 95 200sx SE-R). It was from my 1995 200SX SE-R, from factory. I blew a shift from 2nd to 3rd (did 2nd to 1st when I was high-revving) and did something to it. After that happened, the seal was broken from the VLSD to the axles and it did not turn the two wheels anymore. When I drained the fluid, no pieces of metal came out, so I am assuming that it is fine inside of it. I stuffed two rags in the holes to preserve what liquid was left for lubrication or future purposes. I was going to take it apart or use it for spare parts if my other one goes but I cannot have it sit around any longer. My loss can be your gain. I am trying to give you as much information as I can.

The last picture is where the crack is it. It is a hairline crack so I put the red marks there, in between those marks is where the crack runs. The rust is surface rust and can be brushed away. The white marks can be wiped away with your hand, they are just oxidation particles. I am available this weekend if you would like to make this deal happen. I would greatly appreciate it and it would be even nicer helping out a fellow forum member.

I want you to be satisfied 100% with the purchase so please let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
