Need some opinions
Well, i got this car, spend a good amount of hours on it, finishing the rockers, got my final parts ordered... now the problem is i need paint before it goes outside again or esle my time will be wasted...
i have a couple options but not sure what todo..
looking for some feedback.
(car is already sanded and dents removed)
Pay 1200 for a shop to paint
Pay 500 for my friend to paint it (worried about time and quality) (300 parts 200 labor)
~200 rattle can it

issue is, this will be my daily and its not a show car, and i will be replacing the bumpers within the year... (this car will be hit ALOT (college garages and drunk ppl sux)

Anyone else got another place to suggest for painting? thought about macco (again not too worried about paint)....

Also, should i go black, or white (blk roof)...

thanks

This is how it sits right now.. (selling the rims and puttiong b13 rims back to pay for paint) lol

other side (have fender back on)

stillen sides will be on within the week

fun job..

ahaha, i dunno how differnt the chalkboard paint is vs flat black...
im torn, the chalkboard would be fun and perfect for a beater...

but i kinda want a mini spec (same looking as my spec) but what i am going to use it for and on the budjet, that chalk board would be legit for meets and such

and when it gets swapped, im sure it'll suprise people, instead of lookin good...

im worried if i paint it white, ima be really careful about the pain, vs the chalkboard which i would be careless bout

If the paint did come out nicely, than the chalk would be awesome

Maaco still charges like $1100 with 1 layer of clear coat.

i dunno, i think that is with full prep work, all the prep work is done, maybe a little touch up, they said 250$ with primer and paint (didnt get into to many details without them seeing the car)
I'd say i'd probably be happy with a 500$ job this isnt a show car lol...
we'll see ima register it hopefully in 2 weeks and then figure it out

jen wut it run u(and what u have done?)
