Yeah, Im interested. You should start a thread with location & price info. As you know, between the swaps at Brads house, Balt swaps and now Jens car, we now have several cars that could use some real tweeking dyno pulls.

Update: I think we have solved the hunting idle issues with Jensens DET.... Throttle butterfly was partially open and not closing fully.
Another Outlaw ThermoBlok Spacers adjustment problem... They need to sell a longer throttle ball rod arm with these kits to resolve this problem!!

So Jensen will be getting more speeding tickets starting this week...
Somebody Please give him a good Radar Detector ! !

I think I did start a thread a few weeks ago...I'll go dig it up again. I'm not sure of the price though.

^^ a few people, but I bet Jensen used the DET throttle body and not the DE. the DE also has a bigger throttle body but people still use the DET and the thermo spacer is made for the DE not DET.

You are correct Keo.. He did have the DET throttle body installed..
The DET throttle butterfly was not closing completely and the DET TPS was not functioning correctly. The DET TPS may not be compatible with the USDM ECUs; Im investigating this with Calum.

But some DE's also have problems with the ThermoBlok kit. I did too...

Couple of tricks to make it work:
1) Compress the throttle section of the Thermoblok kit between two boards in a vise very slowly. This will reduce the thickness of the spacer.

2) Using a torch, heat-up the throttle ball rod in the middle and bang on it with a hammer. Careful not to break or melt the plastic end caps/balls. This will extend the length of the rod for a better fit.

3) Find a longer throttle ball rod. I dont know what cars has longer rods, but Ive heard that some V6's & older V8 Infiniti's has longer rods. The rods can be bent to shorten for correct fitment.
