Thread: Need help repairing rust.

alot of connectors and stuff is different. like the 93 use a Electro speed sensor, while the 91 use a cable.

Im in Bmorespecialk.. Im also thinking of doing some rust repairs on my rear strut towers. Nothing major but I want to stop the rust from spreading (see my thread in the NX section). And they have new welding equipment at Jensens shop..

Also Keo is absolutely correct. The 93 NX is unexpectantly different than the 91/92 models. Engine wiring harness, inside wiring, some suspension components (ie spindles), door/T-top weather stripping, and a few other small things. Nissan called these changes, IMPROVEMENTS ! !

I saw your thread before I started this thread, so maybe we can team up and get both of our vehicles taken care of. Fortunately for you, your rust sounds minor compared with what I'm dealing with. I'm definitely going to have to cut, weld, and paint on my car.

When do you think you are going to start working on the rust?

Hopefully, sometime later this month depending on the weather...
Gotta order some patching materials and gather my repair tools & stuff.

Then, I must get in touch with Jensen to schedule some shop time.
