Older units manually down shift or 'kick-down' newer units do this down shift or 'kick-down' of the gears electronically by means of a transmission ECU. Most newer cars that are automatics have both an engine computer & a transmission computer. The transmission computer controls all aspects of the transmission much like the engine computer controls the engine.

Sorry for the verbiage, and I know you may not understand, call me if you really want me to get technical 301-509-9347 -Gregory

no it had the cable that went into the case.
I wish there was a way I could just make the manual kickdown work, because those seem to be abundant.

Wow, I am at a loss here, you bought a trany that was for a 1993.5-96, are you telling me that @ss sold you one for a 1991-93? And all this time we though it was the right one for your HP10, damn, mirrortints I am pissed and with all the passed time we are stuck like Chuck, phuk!

The only other one would be the B15U unit then, but he would have to wait & pre-pay for a rebuild on it, damn. Might as well slap the LSD in it too then? -Me
