Thread: P11/B15 Gears

I recently PMed MFactory about making some stronger 3rd and 4th gears for the P11/B15 trannies. I figured since these gears are not made to the shaft it would be a good idea. I recently installed a PPG 3rd gear set into a GTI-R tranny and it works perfect. They told me they can do it but they need at least 10-15 people. If anyone else is interested in this, let them know and maybe we can get it done. These trannies are strong but the 4th gear seems to be weak. Hope we can make this possible.

I think it should be cheaper. I would go six speed but I would have to change a lot of things including a $1100 dollar clutch, so I rather beef up what I have.

im down for a stronger 3rd and 4th for my p11 trans.. then ill wont have to waste my money on a 6speed conversion.. keep me posted on this idea..

i do miss the gearing of 3rd and 4th in the p11 trans.. but Id also miss 6th and the gas mileage i get now

Are they different from the B13 gears? Cuz we def need those

These gears are not made onto the shaft like the B13s. They can be swaped out for stronger gears and you keep your 1st, 2nd and 5th gear.

How many more buyers do you need to get this started?

I believe he said at least 10.
